MISSION OF THE AMERICAN RED CROSS

The American Red Cross provides assistance to disaster victims and people prepare for and respond to emergencies, helps to prevent a humantaritan disaster with the help of volunteers who provode a great service. This service is one of the main principles of the International Red Cross and we strive to achieve these aims.

In an average year the American Red Cross West Alabama Chapter aids 500 people affected by single-family fires, and trains 3000 people in First Aid/CPR.
